As demand for social media is growing in our daily life, Twitter is no exception. In 2022, more people are getting involved with twitter in particular when Elon Musk got involved. This is going to be a new era for Twitter. Freedom of speech is a key factor to keep a social media alive and active.
As more people are participating and responding to particular polls regarding the app improvement, there will be more engagements as the platform allowing you to edit your tweets, possibly increasing poll’s option which is currently four max, and slight increase in character limits. These may sound only few changes, but it would certainly increase more engagements for current account holders.
It also attracts more people joining and interacting using this platform to share their thoughts and connect to more like minded people across the globe in general and those that are using Twitter as their top three social media platforms in particular.
If you do not want to miss out on any opportunity in this platform, you need to learn its engagement strategy. You should be willing to go beyond what you have been doing so far in creating a lasting impression on Twitter.
Firstly, use your own creativity by making custom made tweets rather than copying and pasting from other social media platforms. Secondly, you must consider that even-though the words are powerful, they could become more powerful when you add an image or video.
This captures more attentions and engagements. Thirdly, retweet wisely by adding your thoughts to a custom made tweets, something to stands out, including retweeting a previous tweet where got less attention at first place.
The next level is to focus on our following list. Following strategy should not be focused to get followers only. Keep that in mind that it is important to follow right people, leaders, groups or organizations. Explore, and using new features on twitter such as “Space” by joining spaces hosted by like minded people.
If you feel confident, why not getting even getting involved more as a speaker in certain topics of your and your followers interest. This is a very easy way to expand your network in this platform. Twitter thrives on conversations, so make sure you have something meaningful, as well as powerful to say or share in certain topics.
